James is a sought out expert in sustainability. As a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon he worked under renowned green building giants, John Reynolds and Allison Kwok. He is a LEED certified professional and his work has won numerous green building awards. 

He has taught architecture and landscape architecture courses at the University of B.C., and the University of Guelph and has been a guest speaker on green building at the University of Oregon, the University of Vancouver Island as well as at professional conferences including Buildex BC, the BC Land Summit and the BC Society of Landscape Architects annual conferences. 

He has a passion for creating landscapes and architecture which treads lightly on the environment yet makes a strong statement about being stewards of the land.
