This project includes a design for a village, spa, accommodations and shopping. Careful attention was taken to the design of the architecture keeping it in style with New England as well as having it grounded in its mountain setting. Buildings extend out into the landscape through the use of boardwalks and roof canopies, while steeply pitched roofs with lesser overhangs give a nod to the salt box architecture New England is known for. James designed all of the site fixtures which JWT presents in our renderings including the light standards. This notion of “complete” urban design is a constant them in our work where JEWT often provides landscape architectural services as well as architectural and planning services.
